Starting a business from zero is hard. Starting it without a map is even harder. This blog is the map I wish someone had handed me.

Then it moves into your story. A while back, I built luxury bag hooks by hand. I chose the leather, I chose the colors, I learned what it means to fall in love with a material and turn it into something real. That experience never left me.

Recently, I started thinking about what I wanted to build next. Not something totally new, but something that let me use that same hands-on instinct, choosing fabric, choosing fit, choosing design. And then I thought about my own journey through pregnancy, through my body changing sizes, and how hard it was to find underwear that actually worked for me. That is when it clicked. I wanted to build a solution for women like me.

Here is the thing about building a business from zero. It is hard, and it is lonely, and every mistake feels like it is yours alone to make. With AI now part of how we brainstorm and problem-solve, building has gotten easier in some ways. But I kept thinking, I wish somebody had already done this and written it all down. I wish I could follow someone else’s journey, their vendor choices, their mistakes, to make my own path faster and easier. Since that blog did not exist, I decided to build it myself.

Right now, I am at the very beginning. I am searching for a vendor in China to help me build my first prototype, and honestly, it is overwhelming. There are thousands of options, and I am just trying to find the right one to start testing what I have in mind. This blog will follow that process, the wins, the wrong turns, and everything in between.
